Description
Rossa Lunga di Tropea is an heirloom red summer onion from Italy. The name translates as ‘Long Red of Tropea’. Tropea being the region in Italy where this onion was originated and long red referring to the color and torpedo-like shape of the onion. These onions can be harvested in late summer or you can wait until later in Fall.
Our onions will be multi-sown in 4 packs and are grown from seed. The onions will be ready in early May.
Our seed is open pollinated and comes from Fedco.
